This policy explains how MediaMaster Intelligence handles copyright-protected content during media monitoring and the rights of copyright holders.

1Monitoring and Fair Use

MediaMaster Intelligence monitors publicly available broadcast, social media, news, and online content for the purpose of media intelligence, compliance, and evidence collection.

Our monitoring activities are conducted under fair use and fair dealing provisions applicable in the jurisdictions where we operate. We do not redistribute or republish monitored content.

2Content Detection

We use AI-powered fingerprinting, content recognition, and detection technologies to identify copyrighted material in broadcast and online media. This includes music, video, images, and logos.

Detection is performed for the purpose of reporting, analytics, compliance verification, and royalty calculation. We do not store or reproduce full copyrighted works beyond what is necessary for these purposes.

3Copyright Holder Rights

Copyright holders have the right to request information about how their content is being monitored and detected through our platform. We provide transparent reporting on content usage.

If you believe your copyrighted work is being monitored in a way that exceeds fair use, you may submit a takedown request through our designated copyright agent.

4Evidence and Legal Use

When content is captured as evidence for legal or regulatory proceedings, it is stored with full metadata, timestamps, and chain-of-custody documentation. Evidence content is only accessible to authorized users.

Evidence retention follows our Data Retention Policy. Copyright holders are notified when their content is used as evidence in legal proceedings, where legally permissible.

5Music Royalty Monitoring

Our music monitoring services detect and report music usage to assist rights organizations, publishers, and collecting societies in royalty collection. We work with PROs and CMOs to ensure accurate usage reporting.

Music detection uses audio fingerprinting technology that identifies tracks without reproducing the full musical work. Reports contain usage metadata only.

6DMCA and Takedown

We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent laws in other jurisdictions. To submit a takedown request, contact our designated copyright agent with the required information.

We respond to valid takedown requests within 48 hours and remove or disable access to the identified content as required by law.
